DC Universe Vol. 15: Arkham Asylum by alexmax DC Universe Vol. 15: Arkham Asylum by alexmax
Here it is! This is the most voted lineup from the poll I ran a while ago. It took me MUCH longer than expected to complete it because work has been crazy for the past few months. I'm thinking that the next two lineups can be ready before January.

It wasn't too hard to choose which villains from Batman's rogue gallery I wanted here, but some favorites, like Two-Face, Mad Hatter, Ventriloquist, Killer Croc and Black Mask had to be left out.

With this lineup I think I've done more Batman-related characters than related to Superman, which I'm not happy with, being a Superman fan and all.

Poison Ivy: I really like how she turned out. I was aiming for a blend between all the great Poison Ivy looks done by much better artists :).

Riddler: I always thought that the Riddler in BTAS looked like Quentin Tarantino, so I took it to the next logical step, and really make him a caricature of QT.

Penguin:Hmmm, looking at it now, looks like I was inspired by the 60's tv show. What I really wanted was for him not to look like the Penguin from Batman Returns.

Bane: Less luchador and more GIJoe? I don't know, just wanted him to look more paramilitary, but still be recognizable as Bane (unlike some other Banes out there).

Scarecrow: Pretty straightforward Scarecrow. Just wanted to make sure it looked like it was some guy wearing a mask.

Mr. Freeze: Always preferred this kind of look over the more common muscle-bound armor.

Man-Bat: So many other more popular options, but I've always had a soft spot for Man-Bat. The first Batman comic I remember had Man-Bat, and I thought that reversing Batman's name to make a pun, to make a villain was so clever. Besides, he is one of the few Batman bad guys that has zero chance of ever appearing in a movie.

If you are wondering where are The Joker,Catwoman,Harley Quinn or Clayface, please click on each of their names or poke around my gallery. :)

Comments always appreciated!

I have a soft-side for Man-Bat too. I think he is perhaps a very underrated Batman villain who should be given more attention as the other villains. He's only made one appearance in the 1990s Batman cartoon, he's never been in any of the Batman movies now matter how Tim Burton kept on saying how he wanted to do one with Man-Bat as the villain, and he's perhaps the only other Batman villain to never be mentioned or have a biography in any of the Batman Arkham games so far. What's up with that? They'll mention Batman villains like Maxie Zeus, Tweedledee and Tweedledum, Humpty Dumpty and Calendar Man, but not Man-Bat???

Seriously? I didn't know that, Man-Bat not existing in the Arkham video games (have yet to play those). You'd think Man-Bat would make for a great boss fight. About movies... well, they now made a Spider-Man movie with the Lizard in it, if they did something with Man-Bat the uninitiated among the audience (i.e. people not familiar with the comics) would think it's a ripoff of the Lizard.

Hm :/ Hopefully if this fourth installment of the Batman Arkham game franchise -- Batman: Arkham City of Terror -- is legit, then we'll finally be able to see Man-Bat in action. Until then, as a fan of Man-Bat, I am pissed! >:(

Catwoman's actually an anti-heroine, nowadays when Batman encounters her he does little more than just making her put back whatever she stole. Also she mostly steals from assholes who deserve to lose what she takes and actually has somewhat altruistic motives for stealing things.

Oh, yeah, yeah, I know that. ;) The reason I named her among other Bat-rogues was just in case anyone wondered why she wasn't in this group. I included Catwoman in a group along with Lobo, who can also be considered an anti-hero.
