Since it is the 30th anniversary, of course Sony is a new edition of the bluray. They are even going to release Ghostbusters II on bluray, which is kinda cool (even if I'm not a huge fan of that one), because for the first time they will include special features about GB2. The dvds were pretty much barebones or had a couple of cartoon episodes.
What's atrocious is the art for the boxset. I guess that since they've used the logo and that jell-o background (first green, now blue) so many times now, they wanted to do something different and added some weird looking arms riffing on the GB2 logo idea. Just ugly.
Anyways, looking at the current bluray, the cover is so boring, I wondered if I could make a quick photoshop hack-job of my own that, at least, wasn't as boring. There's nothing original or clever about it, but I like it better than the actual cover. It reminds me of the C-64 cassette cover. I printed it and, slip it in the sleeve.
Note: obviously the image is just a mockup. I'm not including the flat artwork because I only made the front and the spine.
